The situation is not good. There's a faction of Heaven's forces- and I don't know how large it is- that's been orchestrating cullings of the population of Hell for thousands of years at this point as a means of quelling potential uprisings. They were happening annually, but because someone managed to kill one of the people responsible last time, the next one's been moved up by six months.
We're currently in the process of gathering defenses and trying to deal with the threat of what's coming, but we're less than a month out and I'm not accomplishing what I'd hoped to do in preparation for that.
Good news is, apparently the Purges weren't even known about and this wasn't something supported by everyone on the other side, and that reveal caused some turmoil, which means we have an angle for peaceful resolution here, but definitely not while the asshole in charge of it still breathes.
There's a very long pause before the next message. Shockingly, instead of fear or simply worry... Briar is actually angry?

And no, no it doesn't. Friends and family range from 'staying out of it for safety reasons' to 'really fucking unhappy I'm planning on joining up' to 'just as stupid and reckless as I am and therefore taking up the defense'.
I will promise that if I find a way for people on your end to help here I'll let you know.
