Apparently the excuse was 'population control', previously. Which is as bullshit as it fucking sounds.

And no, no it doesn't. Friends and family range from 'staying out of it for safety reasons' to 'really fucking unhappy I'm planning on joining up' to 'just as stupid and reckless as I am and therefore taking up the defense'.

I will promise that if I find a way for people on your end to help here I'll let you know.
